Dr. Hatice G"How much are veneers in Turkey?" gets asked over a thousand times a month in the UK alone. The honest answer has three parts: the price per tooth, how many teeth you actually need, and what the clinic bundles around it.
Price per tooth: composite vs porcelain
- Composite veneers / bonding are the entry price. The resin is sculpted directly on the tooth in one visit. Cheaper, reversible, but they stain and last 5–8 years.
- Porcelain (E.max) veneers cost more per tooth because each one is made individually in a laboratory and bonded. They stay bright, and 10–15 years is normal.
- Zirconia crowns are sometimes sold as "veneers". They are not — they cover the whole tooth and need more reduction. Ask which you are being quoted.

How many veneers is a "full set"?
Most people show 8–10 upper teeth and 6–8 lower teeth when they smile broadly. That is why "full set" quotes range from 16 to 20 teeth. Two important points:
- You may not need the lower teeth done — whitening is often enough.
- Teeth that are heavily filled or root-treated get crowns instead of veneers, at the crown price.
A good plan tells you tooth by tooth what is proposed and why.
What is included in a veneers package in Turkey
A proper package lists: consultation and examination, digital smile design and mock-up, temporary veneers, the final veneers, hotel nights (usually 5–7) and VIP transfers airport–hotel–clinic. Flights are not included. If a "package price" does not itemise these, you cannot compare it.
Turkey vs UK vs Ireland (indicative, per porcelain veneer)
- UK: £600–1,000 · Ireland: €700–1,100 · Turkey: roughly a third of that for E.max, with the lab work included.
The reason is not cheaper ceramic — clinics buy the same Ivoclar E.max blocks. It is lower rent, salaries and in-house laboratory costs.
Why "cheapest" is the wrong filter
Very low veneer prices usually mean crowns sold as veneers, aggressive tooth shaving to make the lab's job easier, or one-size-fits-all shapes. The result is the over-white, over-bulky look that has given "Turkey teeth" its name. Pay for planning: a mock-up you approve, minimal preparation and a dentist whose name is on the plan.
