Implant-supported dentures in Turkey: what you need to know
An implant-supported denture — also called an overdenture — sits on small attachments connected to implants in the jaw. When you press it into place, it clicks securely onto the attachments. You remove it yourself for cleaning.
In the lower jaw, two implants alone can transform a loose denture into a stable one. In the upper jaw, four implants usually allow the palate to be left open. It is a proven, cost-conscious alternative to a fully fixed bridge.

How many implants do I need?
Lower jaw: usually two. Upper jaw: usually four, so that the palate can stay open.
Is it the same as All-on-4?
No. All-on-4 is a fixed bridge only the dentist can remove. An overdenture is removable by you.
Can I upgrade to a fixed bridge later?
Sometimes, if implant number and positions allow. Your dentist can plan with this in mind.
Do I take it out at night?
Usually yes, to clean it and let the gum rest — your dentist will advise you individually.
