Who is responsible

Doctor Turka – Dental Studio ("we") is responsible for the processing of personal data on this website. Contact details are listed in the imprint and on our contact page.

What data we collect

  • Enquiry data you send through our forms or messaging channels: name, email address, phone number, the treatment you are interested in and any message, photos or X-rays you choose to share.
  • Technical data necessary to operate the website, such as IP address, browser type and time of access (server log files).

Photos and X-rays of your teeth are health data. We process them only with your explicit consent and only to assess your case and prepare a treatment plan.

Why we process your data

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a treatment plan (on the basis of your consent and pre-contractual measures)
  • To organise your treatment, travel and accommodation if you decide to proceed
  • To operate and secure this website (legitimate interest)

Who receives your data

Your enquiry and dental images are reviewed by our dentists in Istanbul so they can assess your case. If you book treatment, necessary details are shared with the hotel and transfer provider. We do not sell your data.

International transfers

Our clinic is located in Türkiye. Your data is processed there only to the extent necessary for your treatment and with your consent.

How long we keep your data

Enquiry data is deleted when it is no longer needed, usually within 24 months of your last contact, unless longer retention is required by law (for example for medical records).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.

Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary storage (for example for the admin login and to remember your cookie choice). Advertising or marketing tools are only loaded after you accept them in the cookie banner; you can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Website statistics

We measure how our website is used with our own statistics tool, hosted on our server. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. For each page view we process the page address, referring website, campaign parameters, browser, device type, screen size, language, approximate location (country/city derived from the IP address) and the IP address. The IP address is shortened (anonymised) automatically after 30 days; raw statistics are deleted after 25 months. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time by contacting us.

Spam protection

To protect our forms against abuse we check submissions automatically (time and rate limits, IP address). If enabled, we use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., USA), which may process technical data about your browser to distinguish people from bots (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

YouTube videos and WhatsApp

Patient videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only load after you click play; YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) then receives your IP address. If you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. processes your data according to its own privacy policy.
