Full mouth dental implants in Turkey typically cost a third to a half of what UK and Irish private practices commonly charge for the same treatment. The difficulty is that "full mouth" does not describe one treatment. It can mean eight implants carrying two fixed bridges, or sixteen implants carrying a series of shorter bridges, and the total differs accordingly. At Doctor Turka, a fixed full arch starts from €3,310 per jaw with All-on-4 and from €3,775 per jaw with All-on-6, while full mouth implants for both jaws typically cost £20,000 to £35,000 or more in the UK; current prices are on our dental costs page.
This guide sets out the main full-mouth options, how each is priced, what a complete quote contains, what home-country clinics typically charge, how to budget two trips to Istanbul and when a full-mouth implant plan in Turkey is not the right choice. Our starting prices per jaw and per implant are on the dental costs page; a full-mouth plan is always quoted individually after a CBCT scan.
Full mouth dental implants Turkey: the four main options
| Option | Implants | Bridge design | Trips | Relative cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| All-on-4, both jaws | 4 + 4 | One fixed bridge per jaw | 2 | Lowest fixed option |
| All-on-6, both jaws | 6 + 6 | One fixed bridge per jaw | 2 | Higher |
| All-on-8 upper, All-on-6 lower | 8 + 6 | One or segmented bridges | 2 | Higher again |
| Individual implants / implant bridges | 12-16 in total | Several short bridges or single crowns | 2-3 | Highest |
All four give you fixed teeth that you do not take out. Each arch usually carries ten to fourteen teeth. The right option depends on your bone, your bite and your budget, not on a package name.
All-on-4 or All-on-6 on both jaws
This is what most clinics mean by "full mouth implants". Four to six implants per jaw carry a single bridge each. It is the most cost-efficient route because fewer implants and components are needed. Details on each concept are on the All-on-4 and All-on-6 pages, and our All-on-4 price guide breaks down one arch in detail.
All-on-8
Eight implants in one jaw, usually the upper, where bone is softer. The bridge can be one piece or split into two or three segments, so a problem in one area can be repaired without replacing everything. It is often chosen for strong bites, softer upper bone or patients who want the extra support. It costs more than All-on-6 because of the additional implants, abutments and a more complex framework.
Individual implants and short bridges
Typically six to eight implants per jaw, each supporting a crown or a short bridge. It feels closest to natural teeth and is the easiest to repair tooth by tooth, but it needs good bone throughout, more surgery and often more trips. It is also the most expensive option.
What a full mouth implant quote contains
| Line item | Notes |
|---|---|
| Consultation and 3D CBCT scan of both jaws | Needed before any plan can be priced |
| Extractions of remaining teeth | Priced per tooth; surgical extractions cost more |
| Implants per jaw | Brand and number should be named |
| Multi-unit abutments or custom abutments | One per implant |
| Bone grafting or sinus lift | Only where the scan shows it; can add a trip |
| Fixed temporary bridges | Fitted during trip one so you are never without teeth |
| Final bridges or crowns | Acrylic hybrid, PMMA, monolithic or layered zirconia |
| Sedation | Often recommended for full-mouth surgery; priced separately |
| Hotel nights and transfers for every trip | Check the second trip is covered |
| Night guard and follow-up checks | Protects zirconia bridges |
Because both jaws are treated in the same visits, the scan, anaesthesia, hotel and flights are shared. That is why a full-mouth plan usually costs noticeably less than two separate single-arch plans.

The factors that move a full-mouth total
- Number of implants. Eight versus twelve versus sixteen is the biggest structural difference.
- Bridge material. Zirconia on both arches costs considerably more than acrylic, but lasts longer before replacement. A common compromise is zirconia on the upper arch, where appearance matters most.
- Implant system. Value systems (Aggressor, Osstem, Hiossen), mid-range (Swiss Implant, Medentika) or premium (Nobel Biocare, Straumann SL Active). With twelve or more implants the tier makes a large difference.
- Bone. Grafting or a sinus lift adds cost and time; very thin upper bone may call for zygomatic implants, a more specialised and more expensive procedure.
- Extractions. Fifteen extractions are a very different day from three.
- Sedation. Many patients choose IV sedation for full-mouth surgery.
Lower-budget routes to a full set of teeth
If fixed bridges on both jaws are beyond your budget, a plan can be built in stages or with a removable option, without cutting corners on the surgery.
- Implant-retained overdentures. Two to four implants per jaw hold a denture that clicks into place. It no longer slips when you eat or speak, and it costs considerably less than a fixed bridge. The trade-off: it comes out for cleaning, and the lower denture still covers some of the gum.
- Fixed upper, overdenture lower. Many patients prioritise the upper arch, which shows when they smile, and choose a removable implant-retained denture for the lower jaw.
- Acrylic now, zirconia later. Acrylic final bridges on the same implants can be upgraded to zirconia years later.
- One jaw now, the other later. Possible, but the shared savings are lost and the second bridge has to be matched to the first.
A good plan sets out two or three of these options side by side, each fully itemised, so you can decide with the numbers in front of you.

What UK, Irish and European clinics typically charge
These are commonly quoted private fees for full-mouth treatment. They vary widely by region, clinic and material, so treat them as typical ranges rather than exact figures.
| Market | All-on-4, both jaws | Individual implants, full mouth |
|---|---|---|
| UK | £20,000 to £35,000 | £40,000 to £60,000 or more |
| Ireland | €24,000 to €38,000 | €45,000 to €65,000 or more |
| Germany | €24,000 to €45,000 | €40,000 to €70,000 or more |
| Switzerland | CHF 40,000-65,000 | CHF 60,000-100,000 or more |
The NHS does not normally provide full-mouth implant treatment, and dental insurance plans rarely cover more than a small part of it.
Why quotes for "full mouth" differ so much
Two quotes for a "full set of teeth in Turkey" can differ by tens of thousands of pounds, and often both are correct for what they include. Typical reasons:
- One quote is for All-on-4 with acrylic bridges, the other for All-on-6 with zirconia.
- Extractions or sedation are left out of one quote.
- One names a premium implant system, the other does not name a brand at all.
- Hotel and transfers are included for the first trip only.
- One clinic plans three trips because the scan showed grafting needs; the other quoted without a scan.

The two-trip timeline and trip budget
| Stage | Duration | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Trip 1 | about 6-8 days | Scans, extractions, implants in both jaws, fixed temporary bridges |
| Healing at home | 3-6 months | Soft diet at first; the implants fuse with the bone |
| Trip 2 | about 5-7 days | Final bridges tried in, fitted and the bite balanced |
Where major grafting is needed, a third trip may be added. Beyond the treatment, budget for:
- Two or three sets of return flights, commonly around £150 to £400 each from the UK or Ireland.
- Two to three weeks off work across both trips, more if you have a physically demanding job.
- A companion, especially if you choose sedation.
- A soft-food diet for several weeks and a hygiene visit at home between trips.
Red flags and hidden costs
- A single "full mouth" figure with no number of implants stated.
- Bridge material described only as "premium" or "porcelain".
- A final full-mouth bridge in one trip on a standard plan.
- Extractions of healthy teeth to fit a package.
- No written plan for what happens if an implant does not integrate.
- A quote before anyone has seen a CBCT scan.

Guarantee and long-term maintenance
Full-mouth bridges need regular professional cleaning, periodic removal by a dentist to check screws and implants, and a night guard if you grind. Acrylic teeth usually need replacing after some years; zirconia lasts longer but can chip if overloaded. At Doctor Turka the guarantee terms are written into the plan before you book. With any clinic, ask what is covered, what you must do to keep it valid and who pays travel for a remake.
When full mouth implants in Turkey are not the right choice
- Several of your teeth can be saved. Extracting sound teeth is poor value. Crowns, root canals and a few implants may achieve more for less; see full mouth reconstruction.
- Uncontrolled diabetes, heavy smoking or recent bisphosphonate or radiotherapy treatment. The risk is higher and close local follow-up matters.
- You cannot commit to two trips and the healing period.
- A removable implant-retained denture meets your needs. It costs considerably less and may be enough.
